Getting to Hotel
For a traveler arriving at Narita International Airport in Tokyo, the most convenient and hassle-free way to get to Akihabara is to take the Keisei Skyliner train. Take the Skyliner to Keisei-Ueno Station. Very short and simple transfer from that to Ueno Station adjacency from where you catch either JR Yamanote or JR Keihin-Tohoku Line for only two stops to Akihabara Station. It’s quick and the travel mode is time saving.
Very nice is the Narita Express (N’EX) train. It goes straight to Tokyo Station from Narita. After that, it is only two more stops on the JR Yamanote or Keihin-Tohoku Line to Akihabara from Tokyo Station. It is much faster from Haneda Airport (HND); take the Keikyu Line train to Shinagawa and then transfer to JR Yamanote Line directly to Akihabara.
The hotel is located quite close to the huge Akihabara Station, just a 5-7 minute walk. It’s highly recommended to use a navigation app such as Google Maps to find your way to the hotel for the first time since the streets can be quite confusing. Do not drive or rent a car in Tokyo. The public transportation is excellent and there’s no parking at the hotel. The city is best explored by this extremely efficient train and subway system.
